Relevance-X Privacy Policy

Scope
This privacy policy covers Acxiom Corporation’s Relevance-X product line - an online advertising network dedicated to enabling the delivery of the most relevant offers to the right consumers while both protecting the privacy of consumers and offering consumers a choice about participating in such activities.

Information Collection and Use
To participate in Relevance-X, you are required to provide your name and address to one of our registration partners. You will be informed at the time you provide this information that it will be used to set third party anonymous cookies that will be used for marketing purposes. These sites will also provide a privacy policy that gives you information about how to block, disable or delete these cookies. These cookies have an automatic expiration of 24-months.

Acxiom will not retain any of the personal information you provide to our registration partners. Also, Acxiom’s advertising clients will not have access to any personal information you provider, unless the registration partner and our advertising client are the same company.

These anonymous cookies contain household characteristics which will be combined with behavioral, contextual and demographic click stream data to help advertisers who are clients of Acxiom create offers which are more likely to be of interest to you and better personalize your experience on their website.

When you visit one of our advertising clients’ websites using the Relevance-X suite, Acxiom will collect click stream data about your activity on the site. Specifically, Acxiom collects information such as browser type, date and time of site visit, and type of operating system. In addition, Acxiom collects information about the particular ads that were displayed, the pages you visit on the site and the recency of your participation in Relevance-X. None of this information contains any personally identifiable information about you. This information will only be used to provide ads that are more likely to be of greater interest to you by our advertising clients and to personalize your experience on the advertiser’s site.

You can set your computer’s Internet browser settings so you will be notified when you receive an Acxiom cookie and given the choice to block the cookie. 

Acxiom does not retain the personal information provided to us by our Relevance-X partners. Thus Acxiom cannot provide access or correct this information.
